Dr. Jodie is a passionate and dedicated chiropractor whose journey into the world of health and wellness is deeply rooted in her own experiences as an athlete.
Growing up, she was always active, participating in multiple sports that fueled her love for movement and physical fitness. Her competitive spirit led her to play rugby during her undergraduate years, where she excelled on the field and was even offered a scholarship to continue playing while pursuing her chiropractic degree.
As a standout player, she helped lead her team to two national championships. However, her athletic career was cut short by a life-changing, career-ending concussion. Facing the possibility of decompressive brain surgery, she turned to chiropractic care—a decision that not only prevented the need for surgery but also played a pivotal role in her recovery, helping her regain her health and reclaim her life. This transformative experience solidified her commitment to chiropractic, inspiring her to help others overcome their own health challenges.
Dr. Jodie holds certifications as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) with a specialization in functional fitness, a Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner (CCEP), and is certified in Functional Movement Screening (FMS). Her expertise extends beyond chiropractic care, as she is highly educated in sports rehabilitation and holds multiple certifications in functional medicine, with a focus on hormone health and gastrointestinal issues. She is relentless in her pursuit of knowledge, always seeking new and innovative ways to better serve her patients and support their optimal health.
When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Jodie enjoys staying active through a variety of hobbies, including working out, experimenting with new exercise styles, roller skating, hiking, and spending sunny beach days with her significant other and her dog. A self-proclaimed foodie, she loves exploring new restaurants around Los Angeles, always on the lookout for the next great culinary experience.
